MSA Sports Network is New Broadcast Home of PIHL
PITTSBURGH,PA -- The PIHL is thrilled to announce that the MSA Sports Network is the new broadcast home of the PIHL! MSA Sports has been covering local sports since 1998 and is affiliated with over 25 radio stations in the region. The PIHL joins over 2,500 live sports broadcasts done by the MSA Sports Network each year, which significantly increases the visibility and cross-promotion of high school hockey in Western Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. MSA Sports will provide the PIHL with a “Game of the Week” done via live Internet-streaming in both audio and video. They will cover an additional game each week via online audio broadcast. All broadcasts will be available at msasports.net and will remain archived for watching and listening.
In addition, the weekly “PIHL Power Play Show” will air on Wednesdays again this season on msasports.net, featuring news from around the league and interviews with coaches and players. MSA Sports also provides a content-rich website focused on high school sports in Western Pennsylvania. The PIHL will have regular content on msasports.net, as well as in the MSA Sports Newsletter each month.
